Our motorcycles may be home, but there is still so much of our Alaska adventure to share!
New Alaska adventure videos continue to come out on our YouTube channel, Wrights On A Mission, every Sunday at noon, Eastern Time—New York time. Ride along with Melvin and me as we revisit the breathtaking scenery, challenging roads, unexpected surprises, and people who made this journey unforgettable.
And I have something else close to my heart to share: I am writing a book about our Alaska adventure!
Little by little, I am gathering our blog entries, photographs, and memories into the story of our 68-day, roughly 12,000-mile journey from New York to Alaska and back. Its working title is God on the Highway: 68 Days from New York to Alaska and Back.
At the heart of this book is how God led us along the way. As I revisit each day, I am reminded of His provision, the kindness of strangers, the prayers shared beside our motorcycles, and the conversations that became opportunities to share the love of Jesus.
Sometimes we saw His hand in help arriving when we needed it. Sometimes it was in an invitation to sit and talk, a place to rest, or an unexpected encounter with someone who needed encouragement. We set out to minister to others, and so often God used others to minister right back to us.

Writing these chapters has given me the opportunity to slow down and reflect on moments we could only briefly describe while traveling. I look forward to sharing more of those stories—and updates on the book—as the manuscript takes shape.
