Matthew 8:14-15

[14] And when Jesus entered Peter’s house, he saw his mother-in-law lying sick with a fever. [15] He touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she rose and began to serve him. (ESV)

How many of us have been healed through Jesus? If you have accepted Him as your personal Lord and Savior, YOU HAVE BEEN HEALED!!! Before Christ we were a broken sinner headed towards eternal damnation. When we accepted Jesus as our Savior we were healed. Sure we still have struggles throughout our lives, but we are not who we were.

Peter’s mother in law after being healed, got up and began to serve Him. So we know He healed us, did we rise up and begin to serve Him in gratitude? I hope so! In gratitude, not because “we have to”, but because “we want to”.

If we are not serving in gratitude, search your hearts. Where would you be today without Jesus? Think about this and look where you are because of Jesus. Then go and serve with joy in your hearts because of it.

Heavenly Father, thank you so much for healing us through Jesus sacrifice. May we serve in gratitude and help others be healed of their brokeness and diseases through the seeds planted, watered and harvested. This we pray in Jesus precious name, amen.
